The images I’ve painted were extracted from footage captured by Ella Mc Partlin during the protests/riots in downtown Seattle on May 20th, 2020. Using a variety of acrylic, including ultraviolet & phosphorescent paints on cotton canvas, the images have a different appearance under daylight, UV, or the lack of light.
